Narrated by Fergal Keane.
Oxford sculptor David Odwar came to England as an asylum seeker at the age of 12. This is the story of his search for his lost brother Solomon. He carries a letter from the baby son Solomon abandoned when he was deported from England. As a teenager Solomon was kidnapped and forced to fight with the rebel army in Northern Uganda which left him traumatised.
The trip leads David into rebel territory and also puts a strain on his relationship with his English girl friend Susan who accompanies him. But David brings smiles and laughter when he shares his art with the children living in the vast displacement camps that now surround his home village.
